Housing Access Voucher Program (HAVP)!

Referral Procedures:
 

The Department of Social Services (DSS) Point of Contact (POC) will enter the following information in the portal:

1. Provide the name and age of the head of household and each household member who will reside within the unit once a voucher is issued;

2. Upload the public assistance budget printout, inclusive of the total gross income and public assistance for the household and for each household member for the initial certification.

3. Upload any other documents that may assist the Local Administrator (LA) during eligibility determination.

4. Provide contact information of head of household and a backup contact in the event the LA cannot reach the head of household.

5. Certify that the household does not exceed the 50% AMI as per the statutory income limit;

6. Sign the certification in the portal, that the household is homeless or at imminent risk of being homeless;
